The Patience of the Saints
My name is Noam Rosenthal. Millennial Intelligence is a monthly intelligence brief that helps Christians understand politics, culture, and economics through the lens of Revelation 14:12, which is to endure through trials in obedience and faith to Jesus Christ.
Here is a call for the endurance of the saints, those who keep the commandments of God and their faith in Jesus. (Revelation 14:12 ESV)
Formation
The guiding question is: how do we patiently obey Christ and remain faithful to Him amidst this month's political, cultural, and economic pressures? And the goal is to cultivate hope and cruciform endurance by helping you to respond to your trials with faith, obedience, and wise engagement instead of panic and apathy.
- Political Pressure Points: A concise overview of key political developments, followed by questions and practices that help us to respond without losing our witness.
- Culture & Formation: Reflections on trends in the media, technology, sexuality, or online discourse to show how they test loyalty to Christ and how we can cultivate holy habits, community, and love of our neighbors.
- Economics & Stewardship: Articles on work, money, poverty, consumerism, and economic justice, grounded in Christian teaching on stewardship, justice, and contentment.
- Witnesses Who Endured: A short profile of a believer, (historic or contemporary) who displayed patient endurance under pressure, connecting our story to Revelation's call.
Investigation
Alongside monthly reflections, the newsletter features long-form, data-driven investigative pieces. These articles will:
- Gather and analyize publicly available data, reports, and historical patterns to clarify what is actually happening beneath the headlines.
- Expose how various political, cultural and economic developments shape the spiritual landscape in which belivers are called to endure.
- Trace connections between present trendsa and key eschatological themes in Scripture (such as persecution, deception, idolatry, false security, and the allure of empire), without indulging in date-setting or speculative sensationalism.
My investigative work is explicitly eschatological in perspective, which takes seriously Christ's promises about His return, the warnings about tribulation, and the call to patient endurance in Revelation. I do not engage in fear-mongering by focusing on discernment, repentance, and practical faithfulness, instead of attempting to decode every headline as a secret prophecy. These pieces show how biblical end-time themes help Christians to...
- Recognize the idols and pressures of the age.
- Refuse compromise with unjust or dehumanizing systems.
- Persevere in worship, obedience, and sacrificial love, trusting that Christ will vindicate His people in His time.
In total you can expect deep reflection and journalistic rigor: caraefully sourced, clear argumentation, and transparent use of data, always submitted to the authority of Scripture and the character of Christ until He return or He instructs otherwise.
